“A-FIVE” Typeface Design
Project Overview
For this project I envisioned an abstract typographic toolkit, a new typeface with a very specific set of rules. The name A5 sparked from the base used for each letter being the size of an A5 sheet of paper.
Workflow
I used my sketches as the foundation for the final version of the letters, giving them an asymmetrical and rough aspect which compliments the imperfect identity of the typeface.
